Which cryptocurrencies can I send?

Twenty-two, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Solana and XRP. Stablecoins arrive on several networks: USDT lands on Tron, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana or Polygon, so you can pick whichever is cheapest. Send to the deposit address the app generates and it converts to naira once the network confirms it.

Can I buy crypto or hold a crypto balance on Zend?

You cannot buy crypto or keep a crypto balance. Crypto you deposit converts to naira the moment it lands, so you never carry price risk waiting for a sale to clear. What you can do is send stablecoins out: choose USDT or USDC, enter any wallet address in the world, and Zend converts from your naira at the point of transfer.

What is the difference between the cards?

Four cards, one wallet. Naira and dollar cards each come as a physical card for paying in person and a virtual card for paying online. Naira cards are charged at par, so ₦1 spent is ₦1 off your wallet. Dollar cards are for paying abroad, and each authorisation converts to naira at the live rate plus our spread at the moment it happens. No card holds a balance of its own — all four spend straight from your naira wallet.

What do I need to sign up?

A phone number, an email address, and a valid government ID for identity verification. You only verify once, and it unlocks every feature in the app.
